 |
| hooeey works in the background and you can use it as actively or passively as you wish. There are three steps to using hooeey: |

| Register as a hooeey user and install the hooeey toolbar |

| Store your browsing history in your hooeey account |
 |
| Once you have installed hooeey toolbar and logged in to your hooeey account you can easily upload your links. By clicking the upload button in the toolbar a window opens, here you can choose to store your entire or a selected part of your browsing history to your account. The uploaded information and data are accessible at any time and changes can be done if required. You can log into your hooeey account anytime and access your browsing data. |

| How can I turn my website recording off? |
 |
| The hooeey toolbar in your browser has an animated icon with tooltip 'Record your browsing'. By clicking this you can turn recording instantly off and also on. You will see the icon change color when it is not recording. |

| How do I tag a single link? |
 |
| There are two ways of assigning a tag to a link. The first way is tagging directly while seeing and visiting the website. Just click the button with tooltip 'Tag this page' in the hooeey toolbar and enter your tags and comments in the up-popping overlay. Click 'submit' and you have already tagged this particular link. |

| The other way is to tag a link while uploading the entire web browser history. All links will appear in an overlay as a list. On the right side you can click and add tags and comments to those links you want to. |

| How do I tag a couple of links with the same tag? |
 |
| Just go to 'my hooeey' and tick the tick box in the title bar of the link list in front of the term links. Click the green 'tag' button at the bottom of the page and add as many tags as you want to. If you chose to enter multiple tags please separate them by comma. |

| How do I change tags? |

| Simply by clicking the icon next to the links in your my hooeey link list. A small window appears which is allows you to change, add or remove tags and comments. |

| What is a hooeey WebTour? |
 |
| A WebTour is a nice visualized album of links with screenshot of that particular website. WebTours can be sent to friends who can easily flip through it without opening the websites in a separate browser window. |

| How do I create a WebTour? |
 |
| To create a WebTour login to your hooeey account and go to 'my hooeey'. Tick the boxes in front of the links you would like to include to the WebTour album, and then click the button 'create tour' on the bottom of the web page. Follow the wizard instructions that will prompt you to enter a title for your WebTour, to upload a WebTour cover image, and to describe the bunch of links by saying what they are about and to choose a WebTour theme. Click next. On the appearing overlay a list of the selected links is shown. Here you can finalize the list of links, add a title for every link and a description as well. Click next when you have finished this step. This is the last step before you finally can send it to your friends. |

| If you have installed the hooeey toolbar, login into your account and press the upload button. A window will open where you see the entire list of websites you have visited. You can select and mark those you wish to upload. |

| Can I share links/folders/WebTours with my friends or colleagues? |
 |
| Sure, you can share links, folders and WebTours with your friends. Easily create a web-tour and press the green share button at the bottom and select 'share with friends' option. Enter the particular email addresses and click 'submit'. Similarly you can share links by selecting the links and then pressing the green share button at the bottom and select 'share with friends' option. Enter the particular email addresses and click 'submit'. For sharing folders click on 'down arrow' icon next to folders in 'my folders' section and select share folder option from the menu. |

| Until now, you would have no quantitative idea of the time spent on browsing, searching, etc. Nor would you know quantitatively what sites and site content were useful to you. By presenting you with an easy-to-understand analysis of your browsing habits, hooeey helps you manage your browsing time more efficiently. |

| In the masthead of the hooeey website click on the link called Tell-a-friend. A window will open up and ask you to enter your friend's email addresses, follow the Tell-a-friend wizard and click send. |

| Go to the 'downloads' link and get the appropriate hooeey toolbar and follow the instructions by the wizard. After installing hooeey toolbar, you should restart you browser. |

| The way in which you have to un-install the toolbar depends on with which browser you are working. |

| Internet Explorer you have to delete it from your control panel. Follow this sequence: Windows Start button -> Control panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Choose hooeey toolbar for IE from the list and click the remove button. You are done. |

| What do the icons on the toolbar mean? |

| This is the hooeey toolbar as you see it when opening the browser after you successfully installed the toolbar. |

| The small h! icon indicates whether you're logged in to your hooeey account or not. Orange means you are not logged in to hooeey - no connection between your browser and the hooeey database. |
 |
| If the h! icon green, it shows that you are logged-in to your hooeey account. Only the logged-in status enables you to upload your web browse history to your hooeey account. To view the analytics and share links with your friend you also have to be in the logged-in status. |

| This little green icon in the hooeey toolbar indicates that your web hops are recorded right now. By clicking on this icon it changes into a orange icon, which indicates that you are in a non-recording mode. To change it into green icon click on it again. You will be asked via a window whether to enable recording on for current window/tab or all future windows/tabs. |

| This is the "see history and tags" image. It is orange as long as you don't watch your history. As you click it, it will become green and an overlay window opens. Within this overlay, you see all recorded links sorted by date and time. Select which URLs you would like to tag, rate or delete and select those you want to upload to your hooeey account. |

| This is the "upload history to hooeey" icon. Orange signifies that nothing is uploading right now. After clicking the icon - color changes from orange to green - you can select between a "complete upload" and a "selective upload". Choosing the complete upload will upload the entire web browse history without reviewing it. You will be asked to confirm the complete upload to give you the control. By choosing the selective upload you will be lead to the same page as you see by clicking the "see history and tags" icon. |

| The icon with tooltip 'Tag this page' is for tagging and commenting single web sites. By clicking this icon the website will just be tagged not be uploaded. |

| After entering tags and comments and pressing the submit button you get the chance directly to distribute the particular link to Delicious, Digg, Reddit or Slashdot social bookmarking platform. You can also skip this step by clicking the skip-button and the link will just be stored in hooeey. |

| The image above shows the case when you are logged-in. First, it shows the username of your hooeey account. In this case it is "britta". Second it shows the amount of links (1115) already uploaded and stored in your hooeey account and on third place it displays the number of links recorded but not uploaded yet (1). |

| How do I tag and comment a web site? |

It depends on when you want to tag the certain web site. If you decide to tag and comment it right a way you are surfing it, click on the "Tag this page" button. |

If you decide tagging and commenting web pages after a day or two (before uploading to the hooeey account) click on the "Manage your recorded links and tags " button. In the window that opens, you see a link list containing all recorded links. The screenshot below gives you an example: |

| There is one more way, login to your hooeey account and go to the 'my hooeey' tap. There you find a list with all links uploaded to your hooeey account. Here you can add, change and delete tags, comments and ratings when ever you want to. |

| How do I log-in to hooeey from toolbar? |

Go to the first symbol in the hooeey toolbar the orange h! You will be asked for your details (username & password) If your are not a user yet please create an account first. |

| How do I use search box in toolbar? |
 |
Using the search field in the toolbar just searches in the public links not in you private links. To search your online links you have to login to hooeey. The search box in the toolbar functions as any other search box does. Enter your search term and press the little lens icon behind it the search starts immediately. To search the links stored on your computer you have to click the "Manage your recorded links and tags" icon on the toolbar. This allows you also to search off-line. |
